Raj, my computer specialist and now friend in Kathmandu, invited me to his house on the rim of Kathmandu last Saturday (Nepali Holiday). There the valley ends and the mountains start. We went for a walk up into the mountain’s with his daughter, Sara, and his friend.
I got excited as I saw some kids playing with toys that we only see in grandparents pictures, so I ran along with them.
We passed through a village on a hill. The road is a steep climb away. To ‘import’ anything into their little community from the outside world is a mission, hence they are mostly self-sufficient.
