Little yellow hook #2

The two-minute little wink

Flying high over the clouds, all I can think of is the privilege of seeing this sight. Not many men or women have been here. We certainly think we’re of an advanced age..

I ask for the ingredients to the menu. “Sorry sir, we have not been provided with such information. Please request it at the time of booking.” I order the vegetarian anyway. I’m probably sensitive to most of it but it does not matter now.

The clouds are beautifully crisp and fluffy from above. The sun creates an almost blinding white glow from all sides. I turn to the passing airhostess and inquire about some tea: “Certainly sir, the trolley is almost here”. Her eyes are exquisite.

I tap my feet and impatiently wait.

The hot cloth feels wonderful on my face – the strong scent of lemon hangs in the air for many minutes and from on my wrists. I prepare the clay.

Two long tubes of different coloured rods lay silently in my pocket – one of a deep dark red, and the other of a light sickly pink. The contents are of the most extraordinary supplementary chemicals one has ever come across.

It was earlier this year that my awareness of the world around me reached a pinnacle. Before, my weak self believed the world should continue on it’s path – to follow the many complicated and symbiotic systems that were growing in enormous supremacy and power. However, this control is treading on my peoples doorsteps. And now, I have no alternative than to shut this door and send them back! I will heal the wounds that so many others have inflicted upon our dear earth. I am a peaceful man, but oh so much more learned today!

I take the small guitalele from the overhead locker and remove the capo. This neat little device wraps around the frets of a guitar to change it’s pitch. It now hides one very long blue-tipped wire. My two chubby fingers peel out this cord from between the capos arms and is now out in front of me – concealed in my hand!

I tightly squeeze the two tubes together and wrap the wire around fast – I place the blue tipped end neatly in the socket of my phone and set the alarm.

2 minutes.

I walk to the back of the aircraft and pick out the nice looking air hostess from the bunch to fill up my bottle – as she turns to the fountain she smiles and winks at me with her left eye. She likes me.

The tip of the sun bounces off the aircrafts long arm. Dark shadows stretch far along the wing from where little yellow hooks protrude outwards.

I turn and take a few paces back towards my seat but dither as if I’ve lost something. The empty seat to my right could be perfect, it has a sleeping woman next to the window, and behind there is just one man – lost in thought staring out to the sky.

The tip of the sun is just about to disappear.

I take a seat but a man to my left gives me a peering look, so I jolt up and walk fast down the aisle past my seat. I clip an attendant on the way as I make the move to pass before she is fully ready. She must be burning the back of my head now with her eyes. I shall burn her eyes! I trip on a foot to my right and almost fall to the floor. The back of a headrest is where my hand finds a safe grip. But I see a double seat much further down that is free.

I tuck up nicely to the window and place the device between the chair legs in front and the side of the hull. I’ve caught people’s attention and they are peering to where I’ve just bent forward. I stare at the person to my left straight in their eyes like a lion to his prey.

He backs off.

I glance again at the floor where I’ve placed it – what’s gone wrong!? I’m fretting and now I have the whole isle to the left staring at me. I hear a yell. The man must know!

The beautiful airhostess glides up to my left and sweetly smiles down to me as I peer up with the sweat of hell.

2 minutes.

The world will know what I did and why. I woke up in a world of darkness but now I have started a flame that can only grow. I am being sent to a place of eternal happiness where I shall be crowned king.
